Dear Friend:

I wanted to tell you about an organization working hard to reduce the consumption of fast food, www.fastfoodfree.org

Fast Food companies are promoting a lifestyle that causes mass obesity, cruelty to animals and mass destruction to the environment.  These companies are negatively impacting our world on a global level.

Fast Food Free is an important campaign that is promoting a reduction in the consumption of fast food through education and community awareness, resulting in healthier people and a better world.

I hope you'll take a moment and review the informative website at www.fastfoodfree.org

Here’s to healthier people and a better world.

NATIONAL CAMPAIGNS

Better business packaging, Saving Southern USA Forest

Working together, we will educate the public and the marketplace about the negative environmental impact on Southern forests caused by business as usual fast food packaging.   Action tab allows you to send a letter of concern regarding paper packaging and fast food restaurants. http://www.nofreerefills.org/

PETA TAKES ON MCDONALDS

McCruelty:  I’m Hatin’ It Campaign

In the U.S., chickens killed by McDonald’s suppliers are slaughtered using an outdated method that results in extreme suffering. As the biggest seller of chicken meat in the U.S., McDonald's has the responsibility - and the ability - to reduce this abuse by demanding that its U.S. suppliers use a less cruel method of slaughter.  Action tab allows you to send a letter of concern to McDonalds about their inhumane chicken slaughter practices.  http://www.mccruelty.com/

Enough is Enough

Corporate Accountability International is building a movement challenging the fast food industry to stop interfering in the political process, preventing the public from knowing the health risks of fast food and bombarding our children with manipulative marketing. This link allows you to sign a petition that is being sent to the Fast Food Industry to urge change.
