Hi Kids!

Welcome to the Fast Food Free Kid’s Site!

Here’s what we’re trying to do:

Fast Food Free is trying to help kids to eat less fast food.  This will help you become healthier and it will make the world a better place.

How to get the job done:

Learning about fast food is the first step and coming to Fast Food Free is a great place to start.

Remind your parents, guardians or others who take care of you to bring snacks and water so you don't have to make a fast food pit stop.

Don't even go inside a fast food restaurant. The yummy smells will make you hungry.

Remember, even though the food smells good it is NOT good for you! Fast food companies spend millions of dollars developing artificial scents and flavors to make you want to eat their products.

Use the "buddy system" and stop eating fast food with one of your friends.

Take the Fast Food Free "Have A Heart" Challenge!

Mr. Jim Skinner, CEO

Dear Mr. Skinner:

I have been learning about the effects of cattle production on the rainforests, climate and people around the world. I am asking you to do everything in your power to help conserve the environment.

One thing that really concerns me is the clear cutting of forests in places such as Costa Rica. It saddens me that the rain forest on earth are being cut down so that you can supply the world with Big Macs.

It is my hope that no more tropical ecosystems are destroyed to make McDonald’s burgers. Cattle production has a tremendously negative effect on the world’s clean water, soil conservation, efficient land management, and the preservation of natural forests.

This is very important to me.  Thank you in advance for doing everything you can to support the environment.

Sincerely,
[YOUR NAME ]

and lovin it
