The #1 health problem in the United States is obesity, largely because of our life styles.
The average kid watches 20 hours of television a week (17% of a week) and during that time is exposed to plenty of commercials promoting fast food.
If you just STOP EATING FAST FOOD and TAKE AWAY THE TV you will have a MUCH MUCH MUCH less chance of becoming fat.
If you STOP EATING FAST FOOD or at least REDUCE YOUR FAST FOOD INTAKE, you will be much healthier.
Almost 1/3 of youngsters are OVERWEIGHT.
Fast Food Lovers consume 187 more calories per day than people who don't eat fast food. That adds up to about six extra pounds a year.
A full 1/3 of adults in the United States are obese (more than 20 percent over their ideal weight).
Obesity rates in 2-5 year olds has gone from 5.0% in 1980 to to 12.4% in 2006.
